Clima quanto mai inglese, qui a Londra, dal mio arrivo sabato scorso fino ad oggi, e prima o poi qualcuno mi spieghera' com'e' che TUTTE le volte che vengo in terra d'Albione la gente mi dice "Che peccato, e pensare che la settimana scorsa il tempo e' bellissimo!", dev'essere una burla dei "locals" ai danni dei "foresti", peccato si dimentichino che qui io ci abbia passato "qualche tempo". Comunque. Poco da aggiungere, e anche l'ufficio "imperialel", nonostante le persone che sempre vanno e vengono, cambia di poco nell'atmosfera. Bisogno di sole e mare, soprattutto, e magari di pensare a una cosa o due, tanto per cambiare, lontano da tutto, ma conto che il mio saltellare prossimo venturo Creta --> Los Angeles -> --> San Diego--> Maui --> Honolulu, compreso un presumibilmente interessante "Independence Day in Waikiki", un po' di queste voglie se le portera' via. E grazie alle premiate ditte "Markos & Sophia from Paddington" e "Pierre & Fabienne from Sheperd's Bush" per la loro ospitalita', cosi' preziosa in queste algide terre...

This should be dearest Markos commenting... but then why does he says he "hopes" to see me again soon? He should KNOW for a fact we'll meet again VERY soon, right here, "in the midst of the one celebration that never can end", as the saying goes. It was very good for me as well, mate, old and new faces and being oh so tired and all: "we should do that more often", indeed. Time to go to bed and prepare for leaving, then. Bring my greetings to Maria, Eleni & Eleni... I guess I chose the wrong week indeed, this time, with all of these upcoming parties. Too bad... I'll see you in Crete, though!
